What
is Excalibur Online?
Excalibur Online is a completely computerized and internet-accessed curriculum for grades 3-12 based on the acclaimed and time-tested Alpha-Omega printed curriculum. (GED preparation is also available. Call 256-325-1500)
This totally online computer-based curriculum
- provides programmed instruction. The computer directs the learning in a systematic way.
- enables the student to interact with the computer by supplying responses and getting feedback.
- is interesting, with a variety of methods used including quizzes, games, videos, and action-based graphics.
- addresses the needs of visual, aural, and kinetic learners.
- allows Excalibur and/or parent teachers to monitor and oversee progress.
- permits flexibility. The student can work at any time, from anywhere he/she has computer access to the internet.

Excalibur Online is for:
- Families who feel uncomfortable or incapable of homeschooling without considerable help and feel that their student(s) would benefit from an online curriculum with the option for having an online or telephone-based tutor available

- Students who are electing to homeschool after having spent five or more years in public or private schools and will not have the discipline or oversight necessary to succeed in other types of home-based schooling.

Cost
Tuition: $1,300-$1,900 per student for one academic year depending on grade and course load. Call 256-325-1500 for more details.
Additional Opportunities for Local Families
Families living in North Alabama may participate in the Excalibur Support Group. This includes numerous field trips, coops, highschool classes, bi-weekly email newsletter, anual mom's retreat, monthly mom's meetings, etc. $150 per family
Graduation ceremony: $130 covers graduation
ceremony, reception, diploma, cap & gown, and 25 invitations. In lieu
of graduation participation, families may elect to receive a simple diploma
for the $25.00 diploma fee
